FAQ

Will my Open Source workflow ever cost money?: No. Publishing and installing public packages from registry.pakx.dev is part of the always-free tier. The paid plans only cover private packages, org seats, and future marketplace payouts.
Why are Pro and Team $0 today?: Stripe Connect billing is scaffolded but not enabled. We want every paying customer to start the day their billing actually goes through, not the day the page first listed a price.
Can I self-host the registry?: Yes — the registry backend is open source at pakxdev/pakx-registry with a full DEPLOY.md covering the Vercel + Neon + Vercel Blob + GitHub OAuth bootstrap.
How do I cancel?: Email us via GitHub issues or, once billing is live, from the dashboard at registry.pakx.dev/dashboard/billing. We delete your data on request — see Privacy.
